If this happens mainly with cold drinks, it may be due to the order in which ingredients are added. In Good Coffee, Great Coffee, there’s an overflow system that can cause drinks to be rejected if the cup fills up too early.
Common Cause
If you add too much milk or other liquids before the espresso, ice, or toppings, the glass may fill up completely. Once it’s full, anything added afterward will simply disappear, resulting in an incomplete drink that customers reject.
How to Fix It
To prevent this, try adding the milk last, after adding ice, syrups, and espresso. This helps control the total amount and avoids overfilling. We recommend testing this method to see if it improves your results.
